The Cub Scout Promise:
I promise that I will do my best,
To do my duty to God and to the Queen,
To help other people,
And to keep the Cub Scout Law.
The Cub Scout Law:
Cub Scouts always do their best
Think of others before themselves
And do a good turn every day.
The Cub Scout Motto:
Our aim at the 6th Chelmsford is to have fun, make friends and experience a wide range of activities, both in and outdoors.
Our weekly Thursday meetings usually follow a balanced program to provide opportunity to achieve the Chief Scout Silver award, in addition we work towards activity badges, learn and practise skills for our outdoor experiences, and have fun.
We also undertake various camps, residential weekends, and overnight sleep outs.
District events are an important part of the Cub calendar as this enables the children to meet Cubss from the Chelmsford District. These include an annual swimming gala, adventure days out, District camps and St Georges Day Parade. So if you think your child may enjoy these activities please contact Akela who will put their name on our waiting list.
